The staff of Living Water Christian Church desires to serve God as their highest goal.  Based on God's Word, we firmly believe that all members of God's family are ministers, and each family member has a responsibility to the church body in service and in love.

Paul Hatfield - Minister - [Account] - drinkitup.org@paul

Paul Hatfield began his ministry as a youth minister at Bellville Church of Christ in Ohio.  He ministered in Indianapolis before moving to Roanoke in 1976 to pastor at another local Christian Church.  He is an alumnus of Ohio State University and Cincinnati Bible Seminary, where he received his B.A. in Missions and his Master of Religious Education.

Paul is married to the former Judy Wilkin.  Paul and Judy were blessed with 3 children.  Tim Hatfield is married with 2 children and lives in Roanoke and is active in Living Water Christian Church.  Suzanne Pas-Ratliff is married with 3 children and is also active at Living Water Christian Church.  Paul and Judy's third child, Christa, died in an automobile accident in 1985 just before her 7th birthday.

In 1988, along with Hondel and Evelyn Adams, Paul and Judy were inspired to begin a new ministry, calling it Star City Church of Christ.  Their heart was for the people of the Roanoke Valley, and wanted to focus on people, not the "stuff" of a building.  They began meeting in a hotel conference room, baptizing in the hotel pool.  Countless lives were touched and changed through this ministry.

In 2002, Star City Church moved to the former Hanging Rock Swim Club on Swimmer Lane in Salem.  We became Living Water Christian Church, and the church family is growing and impacting the valley for Jesus Christ.
