CHURCH AT THE PARK on May 2!
This week, both our Salem and Northside campuses are leaving the building and heading to the picnic shelter at Belmont Park for worship, communion, teaching, a potluck, and some fun in the sun! There are playgrounds and ball fields and courts so plan to stick around!
BELMONT PARK
There are two places to park! Belmont Park is in between Montrose Ave
and Penmar Ave SE. More parking is available at 923 Montrose Avenue SE
You can park closer to the picnic shelter by going to 1030 Penmar Ave SE.
We'll gather starting at 10:00 a.m. in the picnic shelter. Bring a camp chair!
POTLUCK
Bring something to share in our potluck after the service. Bring either:
1) main dish
2) side dish and drink
3) dessert and drink
Plates, napkins, flatware, cups and ice will be provided.
ACTIVITIES
Belmont Park has ball fields (bring your mitts and bats for batting practice!) and tennis courts, plus basketball courts and playgrounds. If you want to play a sport, bring your gear.
No Church at Home worship options on May 2
There will not be any services streaming or recorded on May 2. We will be outside at the picnic shelter at Belmont Park with the chance to physically distance. We hope and pray you will be able to join us in person this Sunday!
